Naoto Fukasawa (1956-), born in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, graduated from the Department of Product Design, Tama Art University, Japan. Naoto Fukasawa is one of the earliest designers of IDEO, the soul of Muji, the director of 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT created by the Issey Miyake Foundation, and the founder of ±0, a brand that designs household appliances and sundries.

Naoto Fukasawa's design philosophy is "unconscious design". 1988, he worked as a designer at Epson Seiko Co., Ltd. and in 1997, he helped to establish the Japanese branch of IDEO. In 2006, he co-founded Super Normal Studio with another designer. During his more than 30 years of design career, his works have won global recognition and more than 50 international awards, including the IDEA Gold Award in the United States, the IF Gold Award in Germany, the Red Dot Design Award, the D&AD Gold Award in the United Kingdom, the Good Design Design Award in Japan, etc. He has worked for a number of internationally renowned companies. He has done product design for many international famous companies, such as Apple, Epson, Nike, Sharp, Hitachi, Toshiba and so on.
Naoto Fukasawa, 63, is a famous Japanese industrial designer who has been designing for almost 40 years. He has won almost every award in the design world, no more, no less, more than 50.
